USAGE/INSTRUCTIONS
To begin using FLIST, place it either in your Renegade
directory, or in another directory on the same
drive/partition.
Run the FLCFG file to generate the configuration file that
you want. You will need to pass the path and name of the
configuration file you want, and the path to and name of the
RENEGADE.DAT file for your renegade installation, like this:
FLCFG CONFIG.FIL C:\RG\RENEGADE.DAT
It will let you define the name of the file listing, the name
(if any) of the header and footer files, and to select the
file bases you want included.
This program will paste in the header and footer files that
you select, and if you leave these fields blank, you will not
get any header or footer.
When you run fList, you will have to pass the path\name of
the configuration file that you want to use on the
commandline, like this:
FLIST CONFIG.FIL
Passing the config file name on the commandline will let you
generate multiple configurations, so you can have different
listings available for different things, such as Support
files for a BBS, or for restricted access areas.
FList will not use any ansi, avater, rip, or pipe codes in
the file, its a simple program, so if you want any such
codes, you will have to be satisfied with using the header
and footer files for that.
FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS:
Moving the configuration program into flist.
Making it possible to run multiple passes with one call,
removing the need for multiple configurations.
SUPPORT:
For non registered users, none.

LICENSE AND WARRANTY
This software, and all of its accompanying files, are under
the United states copyright law, as well as international
treaty provisions. This program and associated files are
distributed under the concept of 'Shareware'.
This means that you have the chance to try out the software
before you pay for the license to continue using it. This
program is NEITHER Public domain, NOR free software.
You are granted a limited license to make and use an
evaluation copy for trial usage on a single computer,
expressly and solely for the purpose of determining whether
this program is suitable for your needs.
At the end of the 21 day trial period, you must either cease
using the program, and remove any copies from your active
use, or register the program.
You may make copies of the software and documentation only
for your personal (trial, or registered) use, or for the
purpose of distributing for others to make trial use of the
software.
All materials related to this software, including but not
limited to the actual executable program, its documentation,
and any accompanying files must remain intact as supplied in
its original shareware distribution package.
You may not distribute any portions of the software or other
associated materials that pertain to your registration of the
program, nor may you assign, sell, rent, sublicense, or lease
the registration materials to anyone without prior written
permission from the author.
You may not alter, adapt, modify or otherwise change the
software or associated materials, including but not limited
to decompiling, translating, reverse engineering,
recompressing (via executable compressors such as PK-Lite or
LESSEE), or creating derivative works without prior written
permission from the author.
You may not allow multiple copies of the registered form of
the software to be in use by more than one person or machine
at the same time, in other words, just like it is impossible
to have a book in two places at once, you cannot get multiple
uses from the same program without purchasing more licenses.
The author disclaims all express and implied warranties,
including (but not limited to) implied warranties of fitness
or merchantability for any particular purpose, in any respect
to the program or its associated materials.
In no way or event shall the author be liable for any damages
for loss of profits of any sort (including and not limited to
loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of
information, or other pecuniary loss) that arise from the use
of this product, even if the author has been advised of or
knows of the possibility of such damages.
Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the
above limitations may not apply to you.
